The research work of the publication focuses on the CPS communication of the Digital Twin and the implications of the security and safety on the control signals. The work employs a finite element model to consider the virtual part of the Digital Twin and a robust control through the solving an optimization problem in terms of Linear Matrix Inequalities. Also, a RSA cryptography algorithm is utilized for the encryption/decryption of the signals. The effect of the time-varying delays on the system is observed on the tracking for a laser heating process.
